We frequent Tony's Pizza by way of delivery or take-out and I can honestly say that we have never been disappointed with their food. The Margherita Pizza has become a family favorite and as you can imagine...is the pizza we ordered quite often. As many times as we have had this particular pizza, it has never been any different from the first time we have had it and it continues to be consistently delicious. The food is great and I highly recommend that if you haven't tried Tony's Pizza...give them a try! Should you decide to, order for delivery or take-out, rent a movie from Redbox (in the Publix next or at the Walgreens near-by) and make it a nice relaxing day/night at home with your family, spouse, boyfriend, girlfriend...or no one for some "me" time. So why only 4 stars? To me, the rating needs to be in relation Tony's Pizza as a whole and should not be based on their food alone. Tony's Pizza is also dine-in restaurant but as mentioned, we normally order for delivery or take-out. We have eaten at Tony's Pizza once but have not been back since. Why haven't we dined at Tony's Pizza again? The service leaves something to be desired. I am not saying that they need to bend over backwards or to jump through hoops. I am referring about tone and demeanor in which the customers are being addressed or spoken to. It's as if we are not welcomed or we are a bother...even when they are not busy (between lunch and dinner). As many times as we have called in an order or have taken out, the "having a bad day" impression/tone jumps out of the phone and shows itself in person when picking up an order. It feels as though that the employee(s) are indirectly saying that they are being inconvenienced, have been inconvenienced, and that things in general are not welcomed because of the "having a bad day" impression/tone that's being given. I know that we all can/will have bad days and I completely understand. But to hear/feel this each and everytime we order from or go to Tony's Pizza...it's a bit concerning and has left us scratching our heads at times. At this point, you maybe wondering why do we continue to order from Tony's Pizza. The honest truth is, it would not be right for me to stop my business with review Tony's Pizza based on "it feels as though" because I technically have not been treated badly directly, never have been spoken to/addressed in a terrible or rude manner, etc... So there is not anything to truly substantiate not doing business with them. Despite my concerns and experiences, I still highly recommend that if you haven't tried Tony's Pizza...give them a try! And if you decide to dine-in, I truly hope that your experience is a good one.

We went to this very local close to home pizza/Italian place. The pizza was good and the service was great. We ordered a pizza with an exchange of ingredients and they messed it up. But they apologized profusely and offered free beers. They were really concerned about the mistake and covered well. We will return.

Last night was our first time at Tony's..moved to FL from NY in June and this was the first good pizza place we have found in Saint Johns area. We had the Margherita...absolutely dee-lish...if you want good NY pizza this is the place to go!

Never wowed. But not bad. Reasonably priced and the owners are very friendly. Good place to take the kids when the spouse doesn't cook.

We live close to Tonys yet have only gone there 4 times. First time took so long to order we left - as did a few other people. Second time, no issues. Third time we went, my son and I each ordered 10 wings at the 9 dollar special price. When the bill came, they charged us 20 bucks. When I questioned the 2 dollar difference, they stated that they combined the orders and 20 wings costs 20 dollars. Lol. Really, so an order of 10 is 9 bucks but 2 orders of 10 is 20 bucks. When the owner came out he was extremely rude and just walked away in a huff. Tonight we tried again. My son asked if he could break the order in three sauces - he is only 13 and I didn't expect him to ask that. To our shock the waitress said yes. However, 5 minutes after the order was placed, a woman came to our table and basically "slapped out wrist" and told us that they can't do three sauces or they will have to charge 2 dollars; however, she said they won't charge us this time. We tried telling her we thought it was unusual also, but she wouldn't listen. She just came out to chastise us. They ended up adding an additional dollar to the check. Probably won't go back here unless it is under new management. There is no excuse for the way the business treats it's customers. The food is not worth all the hassle. For us, it was just conveniently located.

Good pizza and calzones but it took 30 minutes to get our food so, they lose a star. Friendly wait staff. Is it just me or does pizza always taste better when you eat it at the restaurant instead of taking it out? Anyway, we'll be back.

My family and I have ordered at Tony's 4 times. As some of the reviews say it's hit or miss. I have to disagree with that. All 4 orders were correct and delicious! The pizza is amazing! Thank you Tony's for making pizza night a great one!

We had dinner at Tony's and ordered the garlic knots which were horrible. We ordered the angelina pizza and a cheese pizza and they were excellent The best surprise were the wings we had, they were perfect! Service was good, very friendly people

Our go to pizza place. It's always good. I will say though I've ordered a smaller pie a few times and it's been quite overcooked. But larger pies always satisfy the craving! Nice friendly owners and speedy delivery.

We are frequent visitors to Tony's. More often than not, we order a pizza on a weekend night. The food is almost always outstanding. The service leaves much to be desired.

I have eaten at Tony's many times with some good & some ok experiences but this was my first experience ordering delivery. I will not make that mistake again. I downloaded the Eat 24 app to place my order, received confirmation of delivery within 70 minutes, and then waited. I thought 70 minutes was a little crazy, so I called the restaurant at the 70 minute mark just to confirm they did have my order. I was told it was out for delivery. It took an additional 25 minutes for my order to be delivered to my home (I live less than 10 minutes away) and the food was cold. If the food had been hot or even warm it would have been good. My tip: eat there & don't do delivery!

I love to support small businesses and the local pizza shop, but sadly this isn't one we will be coming back to. We ordered two pizzas and four subs... The pizza looked fantastic! However, it tasted nothing more than something you would get out of your grocery store frozen isle. The toppings seemed fresh, but the crust had to be frozen and mass produced. Honestly, it tasted like one of those 'fresh' grocery store pizzas that you had to bake... The subs were fair. The cheesesteak was ok, but nothing memorable. The meatball, however, was so over seasoned that it was indelible. Sorry, Tony's... We really wanted to make this our local pizza spot, but we will keep looking!

Pizza is good but staff is unprofessional. Owner/cook cursing and yelling at staff.

We like the pizza, but for some unknown reason, the last two times we ordered the pizza came over cooked. The last one was close to burnt. Come on guys pick it up and watch the oven. One more overdone and we are done.

Had a friend tell me how bad their pizza was but I love pizza so much I had to give it a try. Anyone who's ever tried to eat 5 star pizza after it's gotten cold will feel right at home here. The crust is terrible it seriously reminded me of wet cardboard I'm not kidding it's terrible.

First visit was yesterday. I am giving them 3-stars due to the severe lack of toppings that came on our Supreme Pizza. Other than that, their pizza, thus far, is some of the best I've tasted outside of NY. The sauce was flavorful and the dough/crust was great as well. I just REALLY wish that the pizza had toppings - not overloaded like some places do - just more than was was received. For a small pizza joint, the decor inside is great - feels like a nice restaurant but in a small space. For now, they get 3-stars; but I will go back so as to try their other offerings. After such, then I will update my review.

I love this pizza. I swear the buttery chewy crust is just awesome. We frequent this place often and yes the pizza can differ at times, but it is always great. We usually get the xlarge pep and mushroom and I cannot get enough. Tony's employs the local youth and I really appreciate them also using fresh toppings. Lunch is always nice with pizza by the slice and there is always a special on beer. The wings here are also good. Free WiFi and spot on rewards are also a plus. I will keep coming here over any pizza on 210.
